The myth behind the name of the event
Gathering those freerunners who has the will to train and celebrate with the ones that have reached the top of our sport that, at Nozarū, we are calling the Ryū’s level.

"Every year, at the third moon, thousands of carp leave the sea to swim up the Yellow River. Bravely flapping their fins, they swim upstream against the current and meet at the Dragon Gate waterfall. It is said that the Dragon Gate is so powerful that it strikes like the arrows of a hundred warriors.
To succeed in their journey, the koi carp must face many obstacles, braving predators, the titanic force of the current, fishermen and many other dangers. Among them, only the most daring manage to reach the top of these violent waterfalls. It is said that one koi carp out of 1000 manages to overcome these obstacles and reach the top of the majestic waterfall. As a reward, it is then transformed by the gods into a magnificent dragon. The others repeat the experience every year.”
The image of the Koi carp becoming Dragon (Ryū) symbolizes the freerunner who manages, by himself, to climb the levels of mastery in this discipline. A strong message that teaches that through patience, perseverance, effort and willpower he/she will manage to reach heights and overcome any obstacle that will be put in front of him/her throughout their sporting but also personal journey.

Yes, all participants will be able to sleep in the first gym in Namur.
Please note: if you sleep on site, bring inflatable mattresses and warm clothes (thermo sleeping bag, etc.).

When changing location, we advise participants to use a car.
Naninne (Nozarū Namur) train station is a 10-minute walk from the Namur venue, and Liège Saint-Lambert station is a 20-minute walk from the Liège venue.

The journey (~50min) is as follows:
1. Departure from Saint-Lambert station
2. Change at Namur train station to go to Naninne
3. Arrival at Naninne train station
Cost of go and return ticket = €24 on average
Please note that there is no parking at the Liège venue. You'll have to look for a parking space in the surrounding streets.
